[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 산청군이 지역 현안사업 추진을 위한 도비 확보와 미래 성장 기반 마련을 위해 경남도와 협력 강화에 나섰다.

 

산청군은 지난 4일과 5일 성흥택 부군수 등이 경남도청을 방문해 주요 현안사업에 대한 도비 지원과 서부경남경제자유구역 조기 지정을 건의했다고 밝혔다.

 

이번 방문은 지역 현안사업의 필요성과 추진 당위성을 설명하고 경남도 차원의 재정 지원을 확보하기 위해 마련됐다.

 

산청군은 경남도 예산담당관과 환경산림국장 등을 만나 생활권 주변 산사태 피해지 복구사업, 호우 피해 임도 복구사업, 남부권역 산불대응센터 설치사업 등 3개 사업에 대한 도비 45억 원 지원을 요청했다.

 

또 경제통상국장과의 면담에서는 우주항공복합도시 배후산단과 세라믹 산업단지 조성을 위한 기반 마련 차원에서 서부경남경제자유구역 내 산청군 조기 지정 필요성을 전달했다.

 

산청군은 앞으로도 경남도와 중앙부처를 대상으로 지속적인 협의를 이어가며 현안사업 추진에 필요한 국·도비 확보에 나설 계획이다.

 

성흥택 부군수는 "군민 안전과 지역 미래 성장동력 확보를 위한 사업들이 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 경남도와 긴밀히 협력해 필요한 재원 확보에 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
