[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 경남도는 16일 오전 도청 도정회의실에서 ‘2022년 을지연습 3분기 통합방위협의회 회의’를 개최했다.

‘통합방위협의회 회의’는 지역 위기상황과 국지도발 발생을 대비해 민․관․군․경․소방의 유기적인 협조체계 구축과 통합방위태세 확립을 위해 매 분기마다 개최되고 있다. 

이날 회의는 통합방위협의회 위원 전원이 참석한 가운데 제39보병사단, 제3함대사령부, 진해특정경비지역사령부, 공군 제3훈련비행단의 기관별 조치와 대책보고 이후 통합방위사태 선포 제안설명, 토의 및 심의․의결 등의 내용으로 이어졌다.

특히 이번 회의는 지역내 국지도발 상황에 대처하고자 통합방위사태 선포절차를 숙달해 원활한 군사작전 지원과 도민의 피해를 최소화하는 데 중점을 두었으며, 민선8기 출범 이후 처음으로 통합방위협의회 의장인 박완수 경상남도지사 주재로 을지프리덤실드연습과 연계해 진행됐다.

박완수 도지사는 “불확실한 국지도발 위협으로부터 실전과 같은 훈련으로 통합방위태세를 더욱 확립해야 한다”면서 “언제 어떠한 상황에서도 긴밀한 민․관․군․경․소방의 유기적인 안보 협조체계를 통해 도민의 생명과 재산을 최우선으로 보호가 가능하도록 대비할 것”을 당부했다.
