[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남경찰청과 외사자문협의회는 1일, 경남경찰청 정병관 1층 대회의실에서 추석 전 다문화 행사의일환으로 경남지역 다문화 15가정을 선정해 정 나누기 행사를 가졌다.

이번 행사는 경남경찰청과 외사자문협의회가 함께 추진하는 여섯 번째 '정  보따리 나눔 행사’로 진행되었으며 다문화 가정의 안정적 정착지원과 행복한 공동체 문화를 형성하고자 마련됐다. 

김병수 경남경찰청장은, “다문화 가정은 여전히 경제적 지원이 필요한 가정이 많고 도움의 손길을 요청할 방법을 몰라 소외되거나 어려움을 겪고 있는 가정이 많다. 경남경찰은 ‘따뜻한 정(情)나눔’을 통해 이들이 행복한 삶을 누릴 수 있도록 지원하고, 사회로부터 보호받는 안전한 여건을 조성하기 위해 ‘정착이 어려운 다문화 가정・범죄피해 가정・아동학대 가정’ 등에 대해 경찰·협력단체가 상호 협력하여 지속적으로 지원 할 계획이다”고 말했다.

박재근 외사자문협의회장은 “경남경찰과 함께 외국인의 범죄 예방과 다양한 다문화 가정 지원 사업을 내실 있게 추진해 나갈 것이며 모든 분들이 따뜻하고 풍성한 추석을 보낼 수 있기를 바란다”고 말했다.
