[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남경찰청은 사회적 거리두기 해제 이후 각종 모임이 증가하는 등 음주운전 사고 예방 및 분위기를 선제적으로 차단하기 위해 16일 도내 모든 경찰서에서 음주운전 일제 단속을 실시한다고 15일 밝혔다.

도내 모든 경찰서에서 교통경찰과 경찰관기동대 경력을 최대로 동원해 주요 관광지나 식당가, 시내 유흥가 일대에서 스팟 이동식 단속을 하고, 고속도로순찰대에서도 요금소 진·출입로 등에서 단속을 실시할 예정이며, 경남도경의 암행순찰 단속팀도 일선 경찰서 단속팀과 합동으로 일제 단속에 나설 예정이다.   

경남경찰청은 “음주운전으로 인한 사고는 자칫 대형 사고로 이어질 수 있으므로, 한 잔의 술이라도 마신 경우에는 절대 운전을 해서는 안되며 운전 중 음주운전 의심 차량을 목격한 경우 112로 신고 해 줄 것”을 당부했다.
