[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시가 경남도 및 통영시‧김해시‧거제시‧함안군‧고성군‧하동군 등과 함께 공동 주최하는 2022 스마트그린에너지 국제조선해양산업전이 5일부터 7일까지 창원컨벤션센터에서 열렸다.

이날 개막식에는 안경원 창원특례시 제1부시장을 비롯해 박완수 경남도지사, 최학범 경남도의회 부의장, 천영기 통영시장, 김석기 김해부시장, 박종우 거제시장, 조근제 함안군수, 이상근 고성군수를 비롯하여 케이조선 대표이사, 대우조선해양 부사장 등 기업 및 협회 대표자 등이 참석했다.

국제조선해양산업전은 2006년부터 격년제로 개최되고 있는 국내 3대 조선해양 관련 산업전 중 하나이다. 

올해부터는 스마트 선박‧디지털화‧생산성 혁신 등의 산업 패러다임 전환 추세를 반영, 스마트그린에너지 조선해양산업전으로 행사명을 변경했다.

행사는 스마트‧그린에너지라는 주제에 맞게 △미국, 캐나다, 중국, 프랑스 등 14개국 136개사 참가해 친환경 조선해양 선박, 스마트‧자율운항 선박, LNG 추진선박 및 벙커링, 해상풍력발전 등의 품목을 전시하는 전시회 △친환경‧스마트 선박을 주제로 하는 리더스 서밋 △대형 조선 3사 세미나 및 구매‧설계 상담회가 개최되는 조선소 교류회 △탈탄소화, LNG 추진선박 등의 세션으로 이루어진 컨퍼런스 △싱가포르, 말레이시아 등 5개국 이상의 해외 바이어와 중소 기자재 간 1:1 수출 상담회로 다채롭게 구성‧운영된다.

안경원 제1부시장은 “고부가‧친환경 선박 중심의 수주로 호황을 누리고 있는 조선산업은 환경 규제, ICT 및 스마트 기술의 선박 적용으로 패러다임이 빠르게 변화해 스마트‧친환경 선박에 대한 기술 및 기자재 개발 등 경쟁력을 확보하기 위해 노력하고 있다”며 “이번 행사로 국내 조선해양기자재 업체, 조선소, 조선해양기자재 기업 간 기술 교류 및 상생협력을 도모하고, 나아가 미래 조선산업의 경쟁력을 확보하는 데 큰 도움이 되었으면 좋겠다”고 밝혔다.
