[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 의령군 오태완 군수가 1일 고향사랑기부제의 성공적 정착과 기부문화 확산을 위해 고향사랑기부제 릴레이 챌린지에 참여했다.
오 군수는 자매결연도시인 용산구, 사천시, 무안군에 고향사랑기부금을 기부함으로써 자매도시간 우호 관계를 더욱 돈독히 하고, 상생협력을 통한 지역경제 활력 증진에 도움을 주고자 이번 챌린지에 참여했다.
오 군수는 자매결연도시인 사천시 박동식 시장의 응원 챌린지를 이어받아 자매결연도시 무안군을 다음 주자로 지목했다.
한편 올해 1월 1일부터 시행된 고향사랑기부제는 개인이 본인 주소지를 제외한 지자체에 연간 500만원까지 기부할 수 있는 제도다.
기부자에게는 기부금 30% 상당의 답례품과 10만원까지는 전액 세액공제(10만원 초과분 16.5% 공제) 혜택이 주어진다.
의령군은 기부 답례품으로 한우, 한돈, 수박, 새송이버섯, 쌀, 메밀국수, 된장, 신선채소꾸러미 등을 제공하고 있으며 벌초이용권 등 이색 상품권도 제공할 예정이다.
