[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 청년들의 복지증진 및 자전거 이용 활성화를 위해 ‘2023년 청년 누비자 이용요금 지원사업’ 참여자를 3월 2일부터 선착순 1,500명 모집한다고 28일 밝혔다.

청년 누비자 이용요금 지원사업은 창원시 친환경 교통수단인 공영자전거 ‘누비자’ 이용요금을 지원하는 사업으로, 2021년 대학생을 대상으로 사업을 처음 시행했으나, 그동안 취업 준비생이나 직장인의 참여 요구가 지속적으로 있어 올해는 전체 청년을 대상으로 사업을 확대 추진한다. 

신청자격은 신청일 기준 창원시에 주소를 두고 있는 만 19세~34세 이하 청년으로 창원시 홈페이지를 통해 신청하면 된다.

지원내용은 누비자 연간회원 이용 서비스(1인 30,000원)를 지원하며 서비스 개시일로부터 1년간 이용 가능하다. 서비스는 창원시 누비자 운영센터에서 일괄 지급한다.

최영숙 청년정책담당관은 “청년들이 고향 창원에서 안정적으로 정주할 수 있도록 지속 가능하고 체감할 수 있는 새로운 청년지원정책을 발굴해 펼쳐 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
