[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 박완수 경남도지사는 2일 출입 기자들과 함께 기자 간담회를 가지고 도정 현안에 대한 입장을 밝혔다.

 

박 지사는 기자들의 여러가지 현안 질의에 각본 없는 대화를 이어갖고 간담회 시간을 통해 도정에 대한 견해를 밝혀, 평소 시민들이 궁금해 하는 도정 현안에 대한 솔직한 심정을 밝혔다.

 

▲최근 창원시와의 공동사업이 잘못된 방향으로 흘러가면서 그에 따른 책임 공방이 일어나고 있다. 이를 바라보는 도지사의 입장은?  

 

창원시와 경남도가 공동으로 주문했던 사업에 책임 소제가 불분명하고 또 서로 업무를 진행하는 과정에서 신속하게 합의할 건 합의하고 또 문제가 있으면 신속하게 해결해야 하는데 그런 부분을 양 기관이 맡고 있다보니 제대로 진행이 잘 안되고 합의가 안되는 것 같다"고 말했다.

 

이어 "행정협의체를 만들어 독립된 협의체가 창원시와 경남도가 서로 참여하는 독립된 협의기구가 있어서 그 기구가 추진하는 것을 연구해볼 필요가 있어야 한다"고 말했다.

대한민국 인구가 감소하고 있지만 실제로 피부로는 그렇게 절박하게 느끼지 못하는 것 같다. 앞으로 5년 정도 지나면 앞으로 아주 심각한 인구 문제와 현실로 맞닥드릴 것이다. 기업체 대표들을 만나보면 한결 같이 사람을 구하지 못해 공장을 멈춰야 한다고 말하고 있는데 문제는 이것이 끝이 아니라 시작이라는 것이다. 이런 문제가 5년 정도 가게 되면 정말 사람을 못 구해서 산업 현장이 멈추는 사태가 일어난다. 

 

그래서 경남은 투자유치와 기업유치를 통해 일자리를 만들고 지역 경제를 활성화시키고 도민들이 만족감을 느낄 수 있는 정주 공간과 환경을 만들어주는 것이다. 지난 대통령 주재 회의에서도 인력 지원기구를 만들어서 산업현장에 외국인 근로자가 제대로 지원될 수 있도록 할 것은 

 

인구 소멸에 대해서는 각 시·군이 나름대로 노력을 하고 있는데, 저는 이 부분에 대해서 정치권에서 그리고 국가와 정부가 심각하게 고민해서 대책을 세워야 한다"고 말했다.
