[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 오는 24일까지 마산합포구 신창동에 위치한 재해위험이 높은 빈집에 대해 외벽 일부를 철거하고 안전보호망을 설치하는 등 임시 안전조치를 시행할 계획이라고 22일 밝혔다. 

 

이번 조치는 건축주의 빈집 전체 철거 이전에 재해위험 요인을 우선 제거하기 위한 임시 안전조치로, 건축주와 시는 수차례 면담과 설득으로 건축주의 동의를 얻어 주변 민가의 피해를 최소화하기 위해 롯데건설 전문가의 자문과 협조로 진행된다.

 

창원시는 지난해 6월 경남 지자체 중 가장 먼저 빈집정비계획을 수립하고, ‘빈집 및 소규모주택 정비에 관한 특례법(’이하 빈집법) 시행령 제9조(빈집의 철거 등 절차)’에 따라 고위험 빈집에 대한 직권철거 등 행정조치를 위한 조례 개정도 완료하여 아직 정비되지 않은 재해위험 빈집(12호)에 대해서도 빈집철거 명령, 이행강제금 부과 또는 직권철거 등 조치에 대한 사전안내를 실시했다. 

 

아울러, 수시로 발생하는 실태조사에서 미반영된 빈집에 대하여는 빈집처리지침에 따라 현장조사를 실시하고 양호한 빈집은 안전조치 및 환경 정비토록 행정지도를 하고, 재해위험 빈집에 대해서는 빈집법, 건축물관리법, 재난 및 안전관리 기본법에 따라 이행강제금 부과, 철거 등 행정명령으로 정비해 나갈 계획이다.
