[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시의회는 24일 의회 의장실에서 국제자매우호도시인 베트남 다낭시 방문단을 접견했다고 밝혔다. 

창원시와 다낭시는 지난 1997년부터 교류를 시작해 올해 교류 26년이 됐으며, 이번 방문은 창원시의 대표축제인 진해군항제를 맞아 우리 시의 공식 초청에 따라 성사됐다.

창원시의회 의장과 부의장, 의회운영위원장은 다낭시의회 찐 티민 하이 운영위원장과 다낭시 손짜구의회 후인 반 홈 부의장 등 다낭시 방문단을 반갑게 맞았다. 코로나19로 인한 어려움을 공감하며, 관광과 산업분야 교류 활성화로 서로의 발전을 위한 협력 방안을 모색했다.

다낭시 방문단은 군항제 개막식 참가를 시작으로 진해드림파크 목재문화체험장과 마산 문신미술관 등을 둘러보고 창원LG 농구경기를 관람하며 4일간 방문일정을 마무리할 예정이다. 

김이근 의장은 “베트남 다낭시와는 문화, 교육 등 다양한 분야에서 교류를 이어왔는데 코로나19로 교류에 어려움이 있었다”며 “이번 방문을 통해 두 도시가 상호 신뢰를 바탕으로 내실 있고 긴밀한 협력관계를 유지하면서 보다 활발한 교류를 해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The Changwon Special City Council announced on the 24th that it had an interview with a visiting group from Da Nang, Vietnam, an international sister-friendship city, in the council chairperson's office.
