[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 현대로템은 지난 14일 창원공장에서 안전하고 재해없는 사업장 구축을 위해 본사 및 창원공장, 협력사 임직원 등 350여명이 참석해 안전실천 결의대회를 개최했다고 17일 보도자료를 통해 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 이용배 현대로템 대표이사와 박종출 전국금속노동조합 현대로템지회장이 노사대표로 참석했으며, 김재훈 고용노동부 창원지청장과 현대로템의 최고안전책임자(CSO) 및 안전 주무 부서장, 안전보건관리 담당자 등이 참석했다. 

현대로템은 무재해 사업장 목표 달성을 지속하기 위해 그룹사 최초로 안전실천 결의대회를 열었으며, 구성원들은 안전에 대한 경각심을 제고했다.

이용배 대표이사와 박종출 지회장은 노사 대표로서 안전실천 결의문에 서약했고, 안전사고가 없는 무재해 사업장을 만들기 위해 노사 모두 최선을 다하기로 다짐했다.

현대로템은 사업장의 안전보건 이슈가 경영의 화두로 떠오르면서 ‘사람과 환경을 최우선으로 하는 안전한 사업장 구축’이라는 HSE(Health, Safety, Environment) 비전을 수립했으며, 세부적으로는 HSE 비전 실천을 위해 ▲선진 안전문화 정착 ▲효율적 리스크 관리 ▲HSE 관리체계 확립 ▲안전보건 내부역량 강화를 4대 목표로 삼아 안전경영 활동에 힘쓰고 있다.

아울러 사업장에서는 임직원의 안전보건 역량을 강화하기 위해 모바일 안전신문고를 도입, 위험요인을 선제적으로 발견해 제거하고 있다. 협력사의 안전경영을 강화하기 위해 협력사 안전평가 시스템을 도입, 리스크 관리 활동을 폭넓게 추진 중이다.

현대로템 관계자는 “안전에 대한 관심이 그 어느 때보다 높은 만큼 사람 중심의 안전경영 활동을 통해 안전한 일터를 만들어 가는데 최선을 다할 것”이라고 말했다.
