Barefoot healing on the red clay road of Seongjusa Temple, Changwon, a thousand-year-old temple

The orchestra heard by nature is a bonus

Changwon Special City announced on the 26th that it would recommend the ‘Seongjusa Loess Bear Forest Road’ as a walking trail in the forest while enjoying the fresh green in early summer as a tourist course where you can relax.

Located in Seongsan-gu, the Seongjusa Loess Bear Forest Road is part of the origin-returning forest path (2.4km) that starts at the entrance of Seongjusa Temple.

If you walk this road, you can enjoy the quiet scenery of Seongjusa Temple, a thousand-year-old temple located at the foot of Mt. There are a lot of people.

If you walk along the uphill road at the entrance of Seongjusa Temple, you will see an elephant guarding Cheonwangmun Gate and a bear sculpture that is the symbol of Seongjusa Temple. Seongjusa Temple is called ‘Gomjeol’ because there is a legend that a bear moved the wood piled up to build the temple.

If you go down the forest road by following the signpost that says 'Road to Yellow Clay Bear Forest' across the street, you will see a shoe store and a foot washing area. This is where the Yellow Clay Bear Forest Road begins. It is a 1.8 km round trip course.

If you turn left, you can walk the entire 2.4km regressive forest path that goes through the forest outing path, which is a Dulle-gil in Changwon, and returns to the Loess Bear Forest path, so you can choose according to your preference.

You must walk barefoot on the Red Clay Bear Forest Path to enjoy ‘barefoot healing’ comfortably. The feeling of stepping on the ocher with bare feet is colder than expected, and it is said to help blood circulation and relieve fatigue as it is fluffy.

Kim Jong-moon, director of tourism in Changwon Special City, said, “Seongjusa Temple, located in the middle of Mt. I hope you will,” he said.
