성산구 가음정 장미공원은 매년 5월이면 활짝피는 장미꽃을 보기위해 전국에서 찾아온 상춘객들로 만원이다. 

성산구청은 장미꽃의 아름다운 자태를 시민들과 관광객들에게 조금이라도 더 보여줄 수 있도록 조명을 밝혀 야간 관광객을 유혹한 것이 적중해 이곳을 찾는 연인들과 가족단위의 관광객은 연신 감탄사를 자아내고 있다.
