김해시는 30일 부원동 아이스퀘어호텔에서 지역 7,980여개 기업들을 대표하는 기업체협의회와 간담회를 개최했다.

 

이 자리에는 홍 시장과 박명진 김해상공회의소 회장을 비롯해 10개 산업·농공단지협의회, 24개 지역·분야별 기업체협의회 대표 40여명이 참석했다.

 

이날 시는 지난 2월 발표한 김해경제 5대 혁신전략과 2023년도 중소기업 지원시책을 안내했다.

 

김해경제 5대 혁신전략은 미래 100년을 준비하며 2030년까지 선택과 집중으로 부산·울산·경남을 아우르는 동남권 경제수도로 발돋움하는 기반을 마련하겠다는 청사진이다.

 

이에 따라 기업 체질 개선을 통한 산업구조 대전환, 전략산업 집중 육성을 통한 신성장 산업 메카 육성, 청년친화·청년창업 허브 조성, 투자매력특별시 건설 민생경제 특화도시 조성이다.

 

2023년 주요 중소기업 지원시책은 경영환경 최적화를 위한 우수 연구기업 R＆D 챌린지, 기술혁신 선도기업 육성, 기업애로 119센터 운영, Good-Job 채용 시스템, 희망일자리버스 운영 등이 있다.

 

시는 또 기업체협의회 대표들에게서 기업들이 겪는 어려움과 건의사항을 청취했다.

 

기업인들은 교통 불편과 인력 확보에 주된 어려움을 토로하며 도로 확장공사와 교통환경 개선 구직자와 기업체 연결 방안 가로수 조경과 환경 정비에 관한 사항 등을 건의했다.

 

아울러 코로나19 이후 국내 경기 침체와 러시아 전쟁 등 대외 환경의 불확실성으로 기업환경이 극히 어려운 상황이어서 기업 지원이 절실한 시기라고 입을 모았다.

 

박명진 상의회장은 “포스트코로나 시대로 접어들며 기업들도 김해시 전략에 맞춰 장기적으로 대비해야 한다”며 “경제 활성화를 위해 경제인 모두가 합심해 새로운 김해 도약에 보탬이 되겠다”고 말했다.

 

이에 홍 시장은 “미래 100년을 준비하는 산업구조 대전환과 신성장 전략산업 육성을 통해 침체된 지역 경제에 활력을 높이겠다”며 “앞으로도 지역 기업인과 현장 위주의 소통과 협력을 강화해 기업하기 좋은 일류도시를 만들어 가겠다”고 말했다.
