[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도는 30일 양산 미래디자인융합센터에서 도민들과 도정에 대해 직접 소통하는 ‘찾아가는 도민회의’를 개최했다.

 

경남도는 올해부터 매월 마지막 주에 도청 간부들이 참석하는 실국본부장회의를 대체하는 ‘도민회의’를 개최해 각계각층의 도민 목소리를 수렴하고 정책에 반영하는 도민 중심의 도정을 실천하고 있다.

 

그동안 네 차례(1~4월, 월 1회) 도민회의를 운영한 결과, 도청이 소재한 창원과 거주지가 멀어 회의 참석이 망설여진다는 의견이 있어, 동부권인 양산에서 도민회의를 열게 됐다.

 

이날 도민회의에서는 김해시, 밀양시, 양산시 지역민 50여 명을 초청했다. 회의에 함께 자리한 박일호 밀양시장, 나동연 양산시장, 김태문 김해시 기획조정실장의 시정 소개를 청취한 후 도민들과 대화를 이어갔다.

 

박완수 도지사는 인사말을 통해 “김해, 밀양, 양산은 도 인구의 3분의 1이 집중돼 있어 도가 할 일이 많은 지역”이라며 “동부권 발전을 위해 도의 역할이 필요한 부분을 듣고, 도와 시가 함께 머리를 맞대겠다”고 말했다.

 

이날 참석한 12명의 도민으로부터 정책 제안을 먼저 듣고 회답한 후, 현장에서 희망하는 도민으로부터 추가로 의견을 듣는 방식으로 진행됐다.

 

권해주 밀양 청년정책네트워크 위원장은 물가 상승을 고려해 청년들의 월세지원 금액과 대상, 기간 확대를 건의했으며, 신유진 밀양청년클럽 회장은 중장년층을 고용한 청년사장에게 가게 유지금 등을 지원하는 시니어 인턴 제도를 제안했다.

 

김기영 에이원엔지니어링 상무이사는 양산의 교통망이 부산과의 연결에 치우쳐 있었다며, 김해 대동첨단산단으로 이어지는 국지도 60호선의 조속한 추진을 건의했다.
