이날 간담회는 박완수 경남도지사 주재로 김정곤 경상남도개인택시운송사업조합 이사장, 시군 지부장 등 10여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐으며, 조합에서는 ▲ 택시 대‧폐차 지원 ▲ 카드결제 수수료 지원금 증액 등 택시업계 지원을 요청했다.

경남도는 택시요금 카드결제의 소액 수수료 감액에 대해 정부에 시책 마련을 요청할 계획이며, 대‧폐차를 지원하는 등 택시업계의 활성화 방안에 대해서도 적극 검토한다.
