[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시에서 12년만에 국가대표 축구경기가 9월 6일을 시작으로 9일, 12일, 3번에 걸친 국가대표 경기를 포함한 총 6경기가 창원축구센터에서 치러진다.

이번 예선전은 황선홍 감독이 이끄는 22세 이하 아시안컵 대표팀으로 6일 카타르, 9일 키르기스스탄, 12일 미얀마와의 경기가 치러질 예정이다.

황 감독은 이번 창원에서 치러지는 22세 아시안컵 대표팀과 함께 24세 아시안게임 대표팀도 28일부터 창원 스포츠파크에서 훈련을 준비하고 있는 것으로 확인됐다. 한편 외국팀은 9월 2일부터 창원축구센터에서 훈련을 할 것으로 보인다.

이번 예선전에는 스코틀랜드 셀틱에서 활약 중인 권혁규 선수와 미국 미네소타에서 활약 중인 정상빈 선수 그리고 독일 베헨비스바덴에서 활약 중인 이현주 선수가 포함됐으며, 관심을 모았던 이강인 선수는 부상으로 포함되지 않았다.
