[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 이재두 경남도의원은 6일 창원시 성산구 상남동 스카이웰빙파크 상가에서 동산로 122일대 교통안전문제 해결 방안을 마련하기 위한 주민간담회를 가졌다.

이날 간담회에는 창원 성원아파트 입주자대표, 상가 관계자, 성산구청 경제교통과 주차담당, 상남동장, 창원중부경찰서 교통과 담당자 등이 참석해 교통혼잡 해소와 보행안전 확보 방안 등을 논의했다.

해당 지역은 아파트 밀집 지역으로 입구를 중심으로 도로 양쪽에 대형 상가가 자리하고 있어 주민과 차량 통행이 빈번하고 이로 인한 크고 작은 사고 및 민원이 자주 발생한다.

이 의원은 이날 간담회 결과를 바탕으로 상가 앞 무단횡단 방지를 위한 중앙분리대 설치, 보행자 안전을 위한 차량 저속운행, 보행 편의 및 주·정차 환경 개선을 위한 탄력봉(차선규제봉) 제거, 상호배려하는 안전 문화 만들기 등에 힘쓰기로 했다.
