운전 중 갑자기 발생하는 저혈당, 뇌졸중, 심근경색증은 택시 운전기사뿐만 아니라 시민의 안전을 위협할 수 있어, 창원보건소는 사전에 심뇌혈관질환을 예방하고 관리하기 위해 상담실 운영에 나섰다.

창원보건소는 택시운전기사의 불규칙한 근무시간을 고려해 ‘찾아가는 맞춤형 심뇌혈관질환 상담실’을 운영하고, 기사별 생활행태를 분석하고 그에 맞춘 종합적 관리를 통해 생활행태 교정과 건강생활실천을 유도하여 심뇌혈관질환을 예방할 계획이다.
