[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 오는 18일 오전 11시부터 오후 4시까지 신안동 강변무대 옆 잔디광장과 충무공동 진주종합경기장 야외공연장에서 ‘2023 진주시 반려동물 문화행사’를 개최한다.

진주시 반려동물 문화행사는 사람과 동물이 공존할 수 있는 시민의식 배양과 성숙한 반려문화 확산을 위해 시민들의 접근성을 높이기 위해 동·서부권으로 나눠 2개 행사장에서 동시간대에 개최한다. 

이날 행사는 반려견 명랑운동회, 유기동물 돕기 자선바자회, 반려동물 캐리커처, 페이스페인팅, 버스킹공연, 마술쇼 등 반려인과 비반려인 모두가 어울려 소통할 수 있는 다채로운게 진행한다.

이날 반려동물 문화에 관심이 있는 사람이면 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 반려동물 동반 시에는 목줄을 반드시 지참, 동물보호법 시행규칙에 따라 규정된 맹견은 입장할 수 없다.

진주시 관계자는 “이번 행사를 통해 반려인과 비반려인의 인식 차이를 줄이기 위해 다양한 프로그램이 진행된다”며“반려문화에 대한 긍정적 공감대가 형성되길 기대하고 있다”고 말했다.
