[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 함안군은 16일 칠북면 소재 탑프루트 영농조합법인에서 조근제 함안군수, 수출업체, 농협 임·직원과 생산농가 등 20여명이 참석한 가운데 올해 첫 단감 수출 선적식을 가졌다.

이날 상차된 함안단감은 단감공선회 및 수출농업단지에서 생산·선별한 함안단감 7.6톤으로 필리핀 1차 수출에 이어 11월 하순경 2차 말레이시아 수출을 앞두고 있다.

올해는 봄철 저온과 여름철 잦은 강우로 생리적 낙과와 탄저병 발생이 급증해 단감 수확량이 크게 감소해 수출 물량 확보에 어려움을 겪고 있다.

이러한 어려운 상황에서도 농협과 수출농가에서는 해외 바이어와의 신뢰 구축, 현지 시장 인지도 상승 등 장기적으로 지속 가능한 수출을 위해 물량을 확보하고 있다.

조근제 군수는 “어려운 여건에도 수출에 참여한 농가에 감사하다”며 “신선농산물 수출 시장 판로 확대를 위한 적극적인 해외마케팅으로 함안농산물의 수출 촉진과 농가소득 증대에 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
