[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 17일 창원대학교 종합교육관에서 생활개선회(회장 강영임), 농촌지도자회(회장 이석근), 한국4-H창원특례시본부(회장 배종신), 창원시4-H연합회(회장 석승철) 4개 단체가 공동 주관하여 제8회 창원 농업인 한마음대회를 개최하였다고 밝혔다.

창원 농업인 한마음대회는 농업인의 날을 기념하기 위해 2014년에 최초로 개최하여 올해로 8회째다.

‘탄소중립 실천, 지속 가능 미래농업’을 주제로 한 본 대회는 농업인단체 회원과 관계자 500여 명이 참석하여 생활개선회원들의 풍물 공연을 시작으로 농업인 유공자 표창, 축사, 박성준 강사의 ‘재물과 행운이 쌓이는 풍수인테리어’ 특강 등으로 진행되어 참석자들의 큰 호응을 이끌었다.

생활개선창원시연합회 강영임 회장은 “농업인을 위한 대표적인 행사인 창원 농업인 한마음대회에 참석해 주신 모든 분께 감사드리며, 원자잿값 상승, 이상기후 등으로 힘든 여건 속에 처해있는 우리 농업인들에게 근심과 걱정을 털어버리고 소통과 화합할 수 있는 뜻깊은 시간이었다”고 말했다.

홍남표 창원특례시장은 “오늘 창원 농업인 한마음대회가 우리 시 핵심 농업인으로서 자긍심을 가지는 계기가 되었길 바라며, 꿈과 희망이 가득한 농업·농촌을 만들기 위해 시에서도 함께 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
