[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 강기윤 의원은 12월 중 「노후계획도시 정비 및 지원에 관한 법률」시행령을 입법 예고할 때 창원 등의 산단 지역도 「노후계획도시정비특별법」상의 정비 대상에 포함되도록 하겠다는 확답을 받았다고 30일 밝혔다.

 

이로써 창원시의 오랜 숙원사업인 사파·가음·성주·중앙·반송·용지·웅남·상남·용호·신월 등 단독주택지 또는 아파트 일대를 비롯해 창원시의 재건축 추진 사업이 탄력을 받게 됐다.

 

강 의원은 30일 국토교통위원회를 통과한 「노후계획도시 정비 및 지원에 관한 법률」과 관련해 국토교통위 전체 회의 전에 최임락 국토도시실장을 국회의원실에서 만나, 「노후계획도시 정비 및 지원에 관한 법률」시행령에 창원시가 포함되어야 하는 필요성을 설명했다. 

 

최 실장은 “노후계획도시 정의상 택지개발촉진법상 택지개발사업 등 대통령령으로 정하는 사업에 「산업입지 및 개발에 관한 법률」에 따라 산업단지개발사업도 포함된다”고 설명하고, “산단 조성 당시 대규모로 조성된 배후 주거단지도 노후화됨에 따라 주민들의 정주 환경 개선이 시급하기 때문에 창원 등의 산단 지역도 노후계획도시정비특별법상 정비 대상에 포함해 12월 중 시행령을 입법 예고할 예정”이라고 밝히고, “꼭 되어야 하고, 반드시 반영하겠다”고 재차 약속했다.
