주민참여예산 제안사업 중 읍·면·동 생활안전형사업 및 구청 정책사업은 지난 3일부터 26일까지 읍·면·동별 지역위원회와 구청별 조정협의회의 심사를 거쳤으며, 이번 심사는 창원시 주민참여예산위원회에서, 각 4개 분과별로 주민참여예산 제안사업 중 시 정책사업 70건과 경상남도 주민참여예산 제안사업 40건에 대한 심사를 진행했다.

창원시 주민참여예산위원회는 시 정책사업과 경상남도 주민참여예산사업에 대한 심사를 통해 사업별 우선순위를 선정하고, 법령 위반사업과 이미 시행 중인 사업, 일회성 축제 및 행사성 사업 등은 배제사업으로 결정했다.
