[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시 마산어시장과 오동동 문화광장에서 30일부터 31일 양일간, 오동동상인연합회가 주최한 제4회 오동동 아맥축제가 열렸다.

이날 개회식에는 홍남표 창원특례시장, 최형두 국회의원, 손태화 창원특례시의장 등 도·시의원 등 800여 명의 시민이 참여해 함께 축제를 즐겼다.

오동동 아맥축제에는 8090파티, EDM공연 등 젊은 세대를 겨냥한 프로그램과 7080등을 위한 즉석가요제, 추억의 pop 음악, 통기타 라이브 공연 등이 축제 동안 오동동 일대에 모든 세대가 함께 즐길 수 있는 축제의 장으로 변모하여, 롯데백화점 마산점 폐점으로 침체한 지역 상권에 활기를 불어넣을 것으로 기대된다.

오동동 아맥 축제는, 지역 대표 명물인 아구를 맥주와 접목해 창원만의 특색있는 문화관광콘텐츠로 조성하기 위해 2019년부터 시행되었다. 축제 동안 아구포, 닭강정 등 다양한 안주 부스와 푸드트럭이 운영되고 고물가로 지갑이 얇아진 시민들을 위해 맥주 1잔을 2,000원에 판매한다.
