이번 위원회는 수산 관련 단체장, 유관기관 수산 전문가 등 15명으로 구성된 창원시 수산조정위원회는 김종필 부위원장(해양항만수산국장) 주재하에 2024년 해양수산사업 결정, 2025년 해양수산사업 신청 및 우선순위 결정, 2024/2025년 면허양식장·어장이용개발 계획 등 63개 사업 188억원을 심의 의결했다. 

창원시는 2024년 주요 심의대상 신청사업은 스티로폼 부표로 인한 어장환경오염을 방지하기 위한 인증부표 보급사업, 어선사고로 인한 인명피해 예방을 위한 어선사고 예방시스템 구축사업 등 7개 사업이다.

또 2025년 주요 심의 대상신청사업은 지역 수산물 가공시설 확충으로 수산식품의 고부가가치화를 도모하는 수산물 산지가공시설 사업, 친환경 에너지 절감장비 보급사업, 양식어장 자동화 시설장비 지원사업 등 56개 사업으로 어업인의 소득과 편의 증진 및 해양환경 보호를 목적으로 하는 사업들이다.
