[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 취업 취약계층의 생계 안정을 지원하고 지역경제 활성화를 도모하기 위해 하반기 공공·지역공동체 일자리사업을 추진한다고 22일 밝혔다.

 

시는 19억여원의 예산을 투입해 2026년 하반기 진주형 공공 일자리 사업과 지역 공동체 일자리 사업을 오는 8월부터 시행한다고전했다.

 

진주형 공공 일자리 사업은 18세 이상 64세 이하 시민을 대상으로 191개 사업에 330명을 선발해 8월 24일부터 11월 27일까지 운영한다.

 

지역 공동체 일자리 사업은 18세 이상 69세 이하 시민을 대상으로 8개 사업에 24명을 선발해 8월 18일부터 11월 30일까지 진행한다.

 

참여 신청은 오는 7월 1일부터 10일까지 10일간 진행되며, 신청을 희망하는 시민은 주소지 읍면사무소나 동행정복지센터를 방문해 신청서를 제출하면 된다.

 

참여자는 사업 유형에 따라 하루 4~6시간 근무하며, 시간당 1만320원의 임금과 함께 4대 보험, 교통비·간식비, 주휴수당 및 연차수당 등을 지원받는다.

 

진주시 관계자는 “이번 일자리사업이 취업 취약계층의 생활 안정에 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 시민 중심의 일자리 정책을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
