[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시가 경기 침체로 어려움을 겪는 시민과 소상공인을 지원하기 위해 오는 7월 모바일 진주사랑상품권 100억원을 발행한다고 22일 밝혔다.

 

이번 모바일 진주사랑상품권은 10% 할인된 금액으로 구매할 수 있으며, 개인별 구매 한도는 월 20만원이다. 

 

상품권은 제로페이 앱을 통해 구매 가능하며, 관내 모바일 가맹점에서 사용할 수 있다.

 

시는 올해 총 760억원 규모의 진주사랑상품권 발행을 계획하고 있으며, 상반기 270 원에 이어 하반기에는 490억원을 추가 공급할 예정이다.

 

또 시는 하반기 오는 7월을 시작으로 9월과 개천예술제·남강유등축제가 열리는 오는 10월, 11월에도 상품권을 발행해 지역 소비 활성화와 상권 회복을 지원할 방침이다.

 

진주시 관계자는 “진주사랑상품권이 시민들과 소상공인 매출 증대에도 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역경제 활성화를 위한 다양한 정책을 지속 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
