[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 본격적인 여름철을 맞아 시민들이 시원하고 안전하게 물놀이를 즐길 수 있도록 오는 7월부터 ‘물놀이형 수경시설’ 9곳을 개장한다고 23일 밝혔다.

 

이번 운영되는 시설은 물놀이장 4곳과 바닥분수 5곳 등 총 9곳으로, 오는 7월부터 8월 말까지 시민 누구나 무료로 이용할 수 있도록 운영된다.

 

물놀이형 수경시설은 어린이와 가족 단위 이용객들이 멀리 이동하지 않고도 여름철 무더위를 피할 수 있는 도심 휴식 공간으로 매년 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.

 

물놀이장 4곳은 물초울공원, 금호지 수변테마공원, 도래새미공원, 가좌 꿈초롱공원이며 사전 예약제로 운영돼 이용 전 진주시 통합예약시스템 확인이 필요하다.

 

바닥분수 5곳은 평거 녹지대, 남가람공원, 초전 물빛공원, 나래공원, 희망광장으로 현장 접수를 통해 시설별 수용인원 범위 내에서 이용할 수 있다.

 

시는 이용객들의 안전을 위해 개장 전 시설물 점검을 완료하고 운영 기간에도 정기적인 청소와 수질관리를 실시해 쾌적한 환경을 유지할 계획이다.

 

또 시는 이용객 안전과 원활한 시설 운영을 위해 매주 화요일은 휴장하며, 시설별 운영시간과 이용 방법이 달라 사전 확인 후 방문해 줄 것을 당부했다.
